I got in trouble in Santa Fe.

I went to Santa Fe last week, and my sister Amber Cruzé (we both have the same name now :), asked me in her very most stern voice if I was done taking a break from having art shows. Doh! (As Homer Simpson would say).

So I did some soul searching and now I am working on a new series. Santa Fe lit a fire under my booty, not to mention I sometimes let my younger sister be the boss of me. I've been waking up at 7:30 a.m., then I do my secret garden/chai latte ritual (to get my day started on my terms and on my purpose versus the rat race in L.A.), then I paint for hours. It's hard work espeically since all my demon / insecure voices yell at me most of the time. But secretly I like it better than acting because I get to write the script (in other words I get to paint the canvas with my own message). And facing your fears is kind of fierce, it's like totally the new trend ;)

So...keep posted for when my next art show will be. I'm thinking Santa Fe, Los Angeles or Planet Venus.

p.s. The painting above is by Santa Fe artist, John Nieto. My GOD he inspires me! Look at his colors, is he for real? I feel his art and I see it. Thank you John!
